An Authentic Pilates Studio

At Elevation Pilates, we believe Pilates exercises executed through safe and controlled movement can increase strength, stamina and stability, improve posture and diminish chronic weakness. Our goal is to progress each body by introducing the appropriate exercises and apparatus at the appropriate time, empowering you to advance in your Pilates practice and apply the Pilates principles to all of your activities at home, work and play.

What is Pilates?

Pilates is a unique method of body conditioning performed through a systematic series of controlled movements, training the mind and body to work together. While this mindful movement targets abdominal and core muscles supporting the spine, the whole body is engaged in each exercise for a full body workout.

Private Sessions

A one on one session utilizing the Pilates framework including mat work and apparatus work on the reformer, tower, high and low chairs and barrels.  Private sessions are highly recommended for beginner clients to learn the foundation of Pilates, focusing on technique and form.  Advancing clients layer exercises and transitions to further enhance balance, strength, stability, endurance and the mind/body connection.

Mixed Apparatus Sessions

Step up your game!  With up to 3 participants, a duet or trio session is motivating, challenging and fun with this fast paced multi-apparatus class!

Tower Classes

A challenging combination of classical mat exercises with resistance training utilizing the tower unit springs, magic circle and other props.  Tower classes leave you feeling leaner, longer and stronger!

Virtual Mat Class

Mat is the most challenging Pilates component and the foundation of Joseph Pilates' Method of "Contrology.” Mat work is where we begin through a systematic series of exercises to find your mind body connection at a pace designed for you to get the safest and most effective results for “your” body.  As you improve your form and technique, additional exercises transition into the class challenging balance and core stability.

24 Hour Cancellation Policy

A full session fee will be deducted by late cancellations and missed appointments.

Parking is available in front of the studio on either side of the street.
There are two public parking lots on Ridge Street at City Hall and Warren Street next to St. Mary’s School, just a short walk from the studio. We are located in Downtown Glens Falls, New York, near the roundabout, less than 20 minutes from Lake George and Saratoga Springs.
